Visual art

Paintings made by Pierre-Louis ABEL, founder of intangible design.

Pierre-Louis ABEL is a 34-year-old french artist who lived and worked in Seoul, New York, Sydney and Bangkok before settling in Hong Kong in 2014. His passion for art began at a young age. He was given the opportunity to study art in Paris at the School of Art and Design (ENSAAMA) and the French national school for advanced studies in design (ENSCI-Les Ateliers). This set his foundation as an artist and throughout the years he focused on creating imaginary worlds through colours. Pierre-Louis’ intent is to create ‘emotional cartography’ by marrying abstract coloured signs, shapes, texts and spontaneous strokes.
